The cat at Angel tube

I work near Angel and I saw this cat the other day and after a quick perusal of the internet I have found this story..
There's a Big Issue seller who has a pitch in the afternoons outside Angel Tube station.
A while ago, he found a stray cat with a badly broken up leg, so he took the cat along to an animal shelter to get it fixed. The cat became incredibly attatched to its rescuer and would try to follow the man whenever he went out. Realising that cats do what they want, the man gave up trying to get the cat to stay home. These days the cat will be sat outside the station calmly guarding the takings.

The food illustrator- Mc'Donalds Art.

David Meldrum is the south London artist who illustrated every single meal he ate for an entire year,
I mentioned him earlier in the summer. More recently he's turned his attention to McDonalds and created brilliant pastiché paintings in various artistic styles. as thus....

ROSS KEMP: FOLD HIS FACE

If you have folded a Ross, you can send it to Kemp Folds by e-mail: kempfolds@gmail.com
Lots of people have been folding lots of Kemps, for which the Kemp Folds staff thank immeasurably.
Due to cuts in funding, the Kemp Folds Museum has had to scale back on the digitisation of The Collection. Please bear with us while we hold a consultation on how to continue expanding the collection.

phone

I have taken my iphone for granted, it's performed every function i've ever required, everything i want it to do without me thinking about it, seamlessly blending in to my life because, well - it just works. beautifully. But my iphone is broken. I'm currently the owner of the clunkiest fossil of a phone courtesy of Blackstock rd finsbury park - apparently the statistic is that ~60% of all stolen phones in london arrive there. stolen?, it was flung from a car by a frustrated person i'm sure, he's now communicating by letter probably. Here's a picture of a phone, it's not quite the relic i've got but surfing through google images of old samsungs is too boring so it'll suffice.
even the render of this piece of antiquated 'technology' is low res. useless. however. I have got a 4s in the post silently floating it's way to my letterbox right now. can not wait. Siri. order me a pizza.

Rumpus!

What a funny night.

sixty two miles.

My super-hero brother is going to run 62 miles this Saturday
in the Norfolk ULTRA MARATHON.
Lover of carbohydrates, owner of dashing eyebrows and general all round top person, he is running for a very noble charity indeed, details of which are on his sponsorship page. I'm going to be supporting him by texting words of encouragement this saturday and buying him Peckhams finest roast dinner at The Montpelier on his return.
Here he is running the 56 mile London to Brighton Ultra last year.
(two back to back cross country marathons in under 14 hours)
GO ON DAVID YOU CAN DO IT!!!
Please sponsor him here every penny counts...

Post-it

There's some post-it's on my desk. They look like this...
and for some unknown reason someone somewhere thinks that
the logo should look like this...

Now today is a particularly busy day for me, deadlines at 6pm and stuff but I can't leave this be when in under 2 minutes I've designed this - which is loads better.
There you go, you can have that for free. sheesh. Back to work.

hang on ... no it's like this...
