On Redcross Way, a tranquil back-street running parallel to Borough High Street, there's a plot of land surrounded by London Underground hoardings. There's a big rusty iron gate adorned with ivy, ribbons, flowers, feathers, jewellery and other curious totems – and with a bronze plaque bearing the epitaph: 'R.I.P. The Outcast Dead'. Women who worked as prostitutes and were therefore not allowed to be buried in regular graveyards ended up here after they had died.

I love the Dutch, they have invented a crazy waffly biscuit which is the perfect size to put on your mug of tea, you rest it on the top and it melts the caramel in the middle yummy.

I've been telling my boyfriend how important crackers are for me at Christmas... 'we really must have crackers I can't do Christmas without them in fact I'll bring a couple of boxes with me. I'll shop around and find some nice ones, I've already had a quick look online'...
